Boston's Baywatcher Bruce Berman is an advocate, educator, author and avid angler who served as Director of Strategy & Communications for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay for more than 30 years. From April to November Berman lives, works, streams and plays on his trunk-cabin trawler, Verandah, docked at Constitution Marina on Boston Harbor. He spends the winter in Miami's South Beach, where he serves as lead organizer for the Miami Beach Cupid Splash, to raise funds to restore, protect and share Biscayne Bay.
